Due to the current pandemic and state restrictions on travel and events in Maine, we have decided to cancel the Spinone Only event for 2020. But as you continue to train, we want to try and help!!
Training for NAVHDA and AKC Hunt Tests?
- Use our Facebook group as a resource! Ask questions and get answers from Spinone pros on everything from hunting to grooming, showing, therapy dog and more!
- Consider becoming a member of the Yankee NAVHDA Chapter (Maine). They are currently running weekly Zoom sessions for both Natural Ability and Utility Dog training where they are taking video submissions and getting feedback from folks on how to improve! They are also running a self-serve bird trailer with pre-orders for members. The Merrimack NAVHDA chapter is also offering bird trailer pre-orders for its members (New Hampshire).
- First time testing a dog or doing a particular kind of test? We are offering mentors for you to ask questions and advice, particularly for Natural Ability Testing. Fill out the info sheet here if you are interested.
